INSTRUCTIONS
Ground turkey: 1 lb
Yellow onion: 1/2, diced
Garlic (optional): 2 cloves, minced
Taco seasoning: 1 packet or 2 tablespoons
Water or broth: 1/4 cup
Tortillas (corn or flour): 6–8
Toppings:
Cilantro: handful, chopped
Salsa: to taste
Sour cream: to taste
Shredded cheese: to taste
Lime (optional): 1, cut into wedges
Heat a pan over medium heat with a small amount of oil.
Add diced yellow onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
Add ground turkey and break it apart, cooking until browned.
Add garlic (if using) and cook for another 30 seconds.
Stir in taco seasoning and water or broth.
Let simmer for 3–5 minutes until the mixture is juicy and flavorful.
Warm tortillas in a pan or microwave.
Assemble tacos with turkey, cheese, salsa, sour cream, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
NOTES
Yellow onion adds sweetness and blends into the meat better than red.
Add a small pinch of salt at the end to enhance flavor.
If the mixture feels dry, add a splash of water or broth.
Warm tortillas before serving—it makes a big difference.
Great for meal prep and leftovers.
