INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

Bones (chicken or beef): 2–3 lbs

Apple cider vinegar: 1–2 tbsp

Water: enough to cover

Onion: 1

Garlic: 3–4 cloves

Carrots: 2

Celery: 2 stalks

Salt: to taste

1. Add everything

Place all ingredients in a large pot or slow cooker.


2. Bring to simmer

Bring to a boil, then reduce to low.


3. Cook low & slow

Simmer 12–24 hours.


4. Strain

Remove solids and strain liquid.


5. Store

Cool and refrigerate or freeze.

NOTES

Longer cook = richer broth

Skim top if needed

Should gel when cold (that’s a good sign)
