INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

Ground beef: 1 ½ lbs (80/20 blend)

Ground pork: ½ lb (optional)

Breadcrumbs: 1 cup

Onion: 1 medium, finely chopped

Garlic: 2 cloves, minced

Egg: 1 large

Milk: 1 cup

Ketchup: 3 tbsp

Worcestershire sauce: 2 tbsp

Dried parsley: 2 tsp

Dried thyme: 1 tsp

Paprika: 1 tsp

Salt: 1 tsp

Black pepper: ½ tsp


For the glaze:

Ketchup: ⅓ cup

Brown sugar: 2 tbsp

Dijon mustard: 1 tbsp (optional)

1. Preheat and prep

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet or prepare a loaf pan.


2. Mix the meatloaf

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.

Mix gently until just combined—don’t overwork it.


3. Shape

Form into a loaf shape and place on baking sheet or into a loaf pan.


4. Add glaze

Mix glaze ingredients.

Spread half over the meatloaf.


5. Bake

Bake for 45 minutes.

Remove, add remaining glaze, and bake another 15–20 minutes until internal temp reaches 160°F.


6. Rest

Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.

NOTES

Don’t overmix = more tender meatloaf

Use 80/20 beef for best flavor

Let it rest before slicing
