INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

Chicken stock: 3–4 cups (gelatin-rich preferred)

Rotisserie chicken: 1–2 cups, shredded

Onion: 1 small, diced (optional)

Carrots: 2–3, sliced

Celery: 2 stalks, chopped (optional)

Garlic: 2–3 cloves, minced

Avocado oil or butter: 1–2 tbsp

Egg noodles: 1 handful

Salt: to taste

Black pepper: to taste


Optional:

Soy sauce: splash

Lemon juice: squeeze

Thyme: pinch

Turmeric: dash

Parsley: garnish

  1. Sauté the baseHeat oil or butter in a pot. Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook for 2–3 minutes. Add garlic last and stir until fragrant.

  2. Add the stockPour in chicken stock and bring to a gentle boil.

  3. Cook the noodlesAdd egg noodles and cook for 5–7 minutes until tender.

  4. Add the chickenStir in shredded chicken and heat through for 1–2 minutes.

  5. Season and finishAdd salt, pepper, and any optional ingredients to taste.

  6. ServeLadle into a bowl—or eat straight from the pot.

NOTES

Don’t overcook noodles—they’ll soak up all the broth

Gelatin-rich stock = better flavor + texture

Add lemon at the end for brightness

Great way to use leftover chicken
